ATS Movie for June
We’re scheduled to pick up the ATS Movie program again this month — our scheduled shooting dates are the 26th and 27th. This one will feature Heather Austin, Ty Jones, Mike Gallagher, Darren Sextro, Theresa Von Colln and we’ll have a special guest star Anna Hadzi coming in to join us from Denver. Larry Levenson will add his usual deft touch with the lighting and the camera operator is yet to be determined.
I’m working on the script as we speak — OK, not literally, but I should have something done by the end of the week. I’m on the hunt right now for an office setting — have a couple of strong leads, but still officially searching.

Jeff Alan in LA
Jeff is an ATS alum that left for the coast about the middle of last year — I thought he had some good practical advice for those thinking about going to that market. AG
Here are a few tips I have learned.
- Come here to LA when you feel you are ready to take that next step. Do
not try to force the move. Having money saved up in the thousands will help
you get started, but the main thing is to know what you are getting into.
Research the areas you would like to live in, find out how much car
insurance, apartment rent, deposits, and a car (if you do not have your own)
would cost you. And allow time to find a job. My suggestion would be to

Andy on the radio — 1510 Hottalk
ATS friend and alumnus Jim Cordrey has asked me to sit in on his radio program, “Money Listens” tomorrow at 5:30 PM on KCTE 1510 Hottalk — 1510 AM. Jim does a show on finances and tomorrow he’s focusing on communication and how it relates to success. He’s interested in some of the workshops on creativity and public speaking I’ve done and he’s also interested in getting the word out about the studio. So listen in — I understand I’ll be on at about 5:40 PM. I hope I have some coherent things to say! If you do hear us, drop me a note and let me know how you think it went. Continue reading
