To audition, please bring with you the sheet music for and be prepared to sing at least 32 bars of a (fully memorized) Broadway-style musical selection that showcases your vocal range. An accompanist will be provided, so please highlight your selection. NO songs from NINE THE MUSICAL, a cappella singing or instrumentals on CD or tape. In addition, you may be asked to sing from the score and read from the script at your initial audition. There will be a movement audition. Bring with you ALL of your conflicts from the date of auditions until February 26, 2008. The fewer conflicts y! ou have, the greater your chances of obtaining a role. Rehearsals will run Monday-Friday but there may be some weekend rehearsals as well. No conflicts will be allowed during tech / dress week leading up to opening night of the production. Callbacks (by Director Invitation ONLY), will be held on Saturday, December 15 from 10am-2pm at The Barn Players Theatre.

Full Frontal Comedy Auditions

Full Frontal Comedy is seeking funny people with on-stage
theater experience for it's spring 2008 season.

Auditions will be held for Full Frontal Comedy's upcoming
season of shows. Full Frontal Comedy performs short-form
improvisational games, long-form, musical games, musical
parodies, and scripted comedy sketches.

Some theater experience is required. Improv experience is
preferred, but not required. Knowledge of pop culture and
current events is a plus.

It’s a day in the life of Charles Schulz’s famous comic strip character, Charlie Brown.
With all of your favorite characters on hand, Sally, Snoopy, Linus, Schroeder & Lucy, this revised version of “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” includes all of your favorite songs, including the title song, “My Blanket and Me”, “Suppertime”, “Little Known Facts” & “Happiness”, plus new songs written by Andrew Lippa, including “My New Philosophy”. The production may also feature a singing chorus.

Each actor will be asked to present 16 bars from a song of his/her choosing, any style (musical theatre not required), with accompaniment preferred. A capella is acceptable, if necessary. No tapes or recordings. Each actor then be asked to sing the first verse (or a few verses) of “Over the Rainbow.” Students who do not have a prepared musical piece will not be turned away, but should be prepared to try and sing.
The audition will also consist of a series of short, cold readings from the script.
All students in grades 7-12 are eligible.

A Cast / Family meeting will be held on Wednesday Nov. 14th from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.

Rehearsals will tentatively begin on Saturday, November 17th and Monday, November 19th. Full rehearsals will resume after Thanksgiving holiday on November 26th. Rehearsals will typically take place Monday - Thursday & Saturdays. Not everybody will be called for every rehearsal. Student conflicts will be accommodated when possible, but availability for most weeknight rehearsals and Saturday rehearsals is very important.
