More InPlay Auditions

Submitted by Andy on Thu, 2008-04-10 10:56.

InPlay will be having additional auditions for our June production of 'Storm Stories', on Saturday April 12th from 2pm to 5pm. I would like to thank all of the talented people who auditioned on last Saturday. This talented field will make casting this show a joy.
'Storm Stories' is a production that covers the entire human spectrum just as the tragedy in New Orleans did. In this audition I am looking for white and Hispanic males and females who can play multiple roles and ages.
Auditions will be first come first serve.
STORM STORIES highlights the sense of loss, and despair, experienced by New Orleans residents, when they realize that their country has forgotten them. The play also spotlights the courage and resilience of the citizens of New Orleans, who manage to survive against a backdrop of government neglect, and indifference. Ultimately, the play is a tribute to the courage of the forgotten victims, of a national natural tragedy.

Alex has studied at the studio for several months now and brings both a sharp eye for the work as well as increasingly simple and powerful work himself. He's headed for the San Francisco Bay area -- we're hoping we can hang onto him as long as possible! AG
