Week 4 ~ Sabrina Henderson

Sabrina HendersonSabrina Henderson is an actress/comedienne/poop enthusiast who lives and works in Kansas City. She wrote her one-woman show, Poops, I Did It Again and debuted it in the KC Fringe. It is a comedic account of her battle with ulcerative colitis and several of the times she has pooped herself in public.

Shockingly, it did surprisingly well and was picked up by a producer in LA, where she performed at the Whitefire Theatre. With that little bit of luck, she was then able to take it to the New York International Fringe and do it there as well.

Last summer, she launched The Taming of the Poo at KC Fringe which was a show of monologues adapted from true stories people from all over had given her. In addition to writing about excrement, she plays Slutterbell: The Every Fairy online, a character she created about a weird little fairy just trying to get by. She is also a member of SAG/AFTRA, studied with The Groundlings in LA, and was a member of the radio comedy group Right Between the Ears until they officially closed last year.

She continues to act, make people laugh, and do exactly what you aren’t supposed to do in order to get herself seen, noticed, and produced because after all, rules are just guidelines anyway.
