After studying at ATS for six years, I eventually ended up at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. The theater scene here is not as robust as KC’s but it’s definitely getting better! In 2016, I appeared in the leading role in one production, and did a major supporting role in the other as well as serving as dramaturge for that show (my first). I have an audition coming up next week (March 2017) in a brand new play written by a friend here who teaches theater at a local university.
